About Cobham Players

Cobham Players has been established for over 60 years (formerly as St Andrew’s Players). We are the only group regularly presenting plays, musicals, pantomimes and other entertainments in Cobham. We produce two major plays each year, in the Spring and the Autumn, an annual pantomime, and occasional play-readings and social events.

2011 began  with ‘Babes in the Wood’ followed in the Spring by The 39 Steps and by House Guest in the Autumn.

In Autumn 2010,we presented ‘Feelgood’ by Alistair Beaton. Details here.

In Spring 2010, we presented Lifeboat and Dads Army: Lifeboat was our entry for both the All England and Leatherhead Drama Festivals.

At the start of 2010 our panto was Aladdin. In Autumn 2009, we presented a comedy, A Bird in The Hand.

In the Spring 2009, we presented An Evening of Comedy which began with Jimmie Chinn’s Something To Remember You By and concluded with a selection from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales. We performed Something To Remember You By in the 2009 Leatherhead Drama Festival.  Our 2009 pantomime was Cinderella.

New members are always welcome. The most important qualification is enthusiasm to join in and make new friends. The opportunities to have fun are many; whether it is performing, participating front of house or backstage, or just being in the audience.

Why not give us a try? No experience is needed – just enthusiasm. If you are interested please click here to find out more.
