Auditions

The audition for our April 2025 production of GRIMM TALES will take place on Monday 18th November 2024 at 7:30pm in the Committee Room (upstairs) at Cobham Village Hall.  It is being directed by Marlisa Doubell.  If you wish to attend the audition, please email the director to let her know and she will send you the audition pieces. marlisadoubell22@gmail.com

 

Rehearsals will take place every Monday and Thursday evening from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm, starting Monday, 10th February, and running until show dates.

Please note that there will also be extra weekend and evening rehearsals during the final two weeks leading up to the show. These dates are to be confirmed.

 

Show dates are 10th, 11th & 12th April 2025.

 

We are looking for versatile performers of all ages from ‘teen to ton’ to join our fun and dynamic ensemble cast in bringing to life a selection of classic Grimm Brothers’ fairy tales! There will be a basic level of movement and dance and some singing required!

Performers may be cast in multiple roles, so flexibility and enthusiasm are key.

 

No experience needed-just a positive attitude!

 

You may be cast in one or more roles across Act 1 and Act 2, as well as some whole cast fun choreographed dances for the finale and various scene changes!

Audition Requirements:

Please come in comfortable clothes and be prepared to read from the script. Expect to explore a variety of characters in a selection of scenes. Scenes will be emailed to you upon application.

 

We’d love to see you at the audition.  Non-members are welcome to audition but if they are given a part, they are required to become Gold Members and pay the membership fee of £25.  This will be valid until our AGM in June 2025.  Juniors (under 18) are required to pay a membership fee of £5 valid as above.
